"Seen Around Town"

Living in Las Vegas for four decades has given Robert Scott Hooper ample opportunity to capture some views of the stars along with some of the characters that inhabit Sin City. This is a walk down memory lane, with some of the movers and shakers of the day. You might very well find some of your old friends here.
The magic of Las Vegas doesn't happen in a vacuum. Whether it's the latest ad campaign, <b><i>What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas</b></i> or the latest championship fight or dance or reality show, it is all about a group of people behind the scenes making things happen. So here's to the admen, writers, photographers, artists, producers, gaffers, lighting techs, elephant handlers, tiger haulers and lowly production assistants that are the magic behind the scenes.
Behind The Scenes


 Party, party, party! Las Vegas has always been the quintessential party town. The only thing that's changed are the faces. It used to be Frank Sinatra holding outrageous birthday parties where everyone ended up wearing cake (really...see the photos) and now its Snoop Dogs after party at a nightclub.
Party Down


 In spite of the love/hate relationship Las Vegas has with some sports because of sports betting and we are still fighting over a stadium, the town has played host to some big events. The Mint 400 Race was the richest off-road race in the world and many a golf championship was played out on these desert courses. Naturally a big fight town, nowadays Las Vegas hosts everything from the National Finals Rodeo to Nascar. Here is a look at earlier sporting days.
Sports Scene


 In this section you will find all the photos that have no place else to be. Some of them are silly, some are ironic, others are just the normal course of life in a town that grew up on gambling, topless girls and 24 hour drinking establishments. There are just some things you will only see in Vegas.
