Melinda & LucasHappy CamelThis photo of Melinda, the First Lady of Magic was taken on stage at the Lady Luck Casino in Las Vegas in 1992. Lucas is his name, ladies are his game. Hooper had no idea he would be shooting a camel on stage with Melinda that day. Lucas was a surprise prop brought in by her producer mother Bonnie Saxe. As the producer, she often gave us a wild ride with last minute wild ideas or crazy props. One of our faves was a pair of sheep named Siegfried & Roy.
