This photo was taken in 1987, Hooper's first shoot of Melinda, The First Lady of Magic. She had a small show produced by her mom, Bonnie Saxe, a former showgirl. Melinda would go on to appear on the Tonight Show and her own Magic special, as well as have her own theatre in Branson.
