Folies Showgirls 17Girls Next DoorShowgirls became an integral part of the Las Vegas entertainment scene early on. In the big production shows like the Lido de Paris and Folies Bergere, these tall beauties framed the stage in each scene, wearing costumes and headgear that sometimes weighed nearly 50 lbs. Once upon a time it was hard to imagine what Las Vegas would be without it's showgirls. Now we know. The big shows have been replaced by "titty bars" and the glamorous costumes by club wear.
