Showgirl in The Book

Former "Crazy Girl" Melanie Peck has appeared on television several times, including the "Family Feud" Showgirl Special. This 5' 9" dancer, who favors Latin dance, first appeared in Siegfried and Roy's "Beyond Belief" at the Frontier Hotel.
This photograph, taken in 1992 for a Las Vegas Showgirl project, has come around again in the newly published "The Book on Vegas" where it runs in full color across a two page spread . The gorgeous gold coffee table book is filled with an amazingly diverse group of photographs from both amateur photographers and famed visual artists. It also contains 5 pages of beautiful, nude and nearly nude images of Hooper's.

Have you seen the 1993 Calendar of Melanie in November? She was dearly loved and it is nice to see memories of her. Vegas in general is a hard place to live. We tried it for twenty years.
