IN THE NEWS June 12, 1972  - FORBIDDEN CITY GALA OPENING is touted as Las Vegas' first "real" nightclub. The club features a step back in time with decor featuring ancient civilizations, exotic gods and moss covered trees while it boasts extraordinary American food. And, the Stardust Hotel makes merry with the Irish Show Band in the Starlight Lounge.

Cover Girl Caption  ONE LAST LOOK at the "Water Skiing Queen", Annette Suzor. 19 year old Annette is the Vegas Visitor's entry in the June 10th Sports Beauty Pageant at the Las Vegas Stadium. Hopefully the next time we see this pretty young lady's picture, it will be a portrait of the new "Ms. International Sportsworld". The proceeds of the pageant have been donated to the March of Dimes, Southern Nevada Chapter.
