IN THE NEWS June 29, 1973  - GOLDIE is All That Glitters at the Hilton, headline is certainly apt for the woman who captured an Academy Award for her first movie role (Cactus Flower). The "Goldie" lavish production show displays her singing and dancing talents. Danny Thomas is back at the Sands Copa Room following his Shower of Stars Benefit in Memphis on behalf of the St Jude's Center, which he built. Gloria Loring is on the ticket with him. Just so you know, the long haired dudes and one dudette in the group photo is The Strip's newest "in" group, The Gringos, currently tearing it up nightly in the Casbar Theatre at Del Webb's Sahara Hotel.
