IN THE NEWS August 17, 1973  - GOULET Stars In Intoxicating Show At Frontier is the headline this week, but there is also an interesting tidbit in the story about Robert Goulet. Apparently when he does his "Table Medley", walking through the audience singing to individuals, he will confiscate cigarettes he spies on tables. Keep in mind, in 1973 you could smoke anywhere in Las Vegas...a brave man. Foster Brooks is on the bill with him, doing his drunken uncle routine.

Cover Girl Caption  NO ICE PLEASE - Susan Anton, the statuesque honey-blond now starring in Fantasy On Ice at the Hacienda Hotel and Casino, was a former Miss California and a runner-up in the Miss America contest. Quite new on the show-biz scene, producer George Arnold saw her in the Hacienda's previous show where she was singing just one song. Realizing the great potential he decided to star Susan in his production of "Fantasy On Ice". Susan has one stipulation in her contract- she can melt the hearts of men, but not the ice!
