IN THE NEWS November 29, 1974  - Danny Thomas is well known to Las Vegas audiences, but this was his debut at the Dunes Casino de Paris showroom. Gladys Knight and the Pips open the big room at the Hilton in their first appearance as the principal attraction after their two 1974 Grammy's. Doc Severinsen is there too with his "Now Generation Brass" band.

Cover Girl Caption GIRL OF THE YEAR - Cinnamon Steen, Texas born fillie (a Ron Lewis Dancer) was awarded "Ensemble Girl of the Year" recently during the Las Vegas Entertainment Awards telecast hosted by Bob Hope. Cinnamon won the award for her role in "Bare Touch of Vegas" appearing twice nightly at the renowned Stardust strip hotel and casino. Cinnamon is also an accomplished student of Karate...so if you meet her in a dark alley, be polite!
