IN THE NEWS August 29, 1980   -FINN FUNN is the afternoon show that gathers crowds at the Union Plaza with it's comedy acts, impressions and song and dance routines. The Finn Showband plays favorites from the Gay 90's and Roaring Tweinties to modern jazz. PJ Parker (AKA Paulette Powers is starring in Olde Tyme Burlesque at the Maxim Hotel and "Mr Cool" Dean Martin heads up the Celebrity Room at the MGM. On this date the Folies Bergere spectacular has been at the Tropicana Hotel for 21 years.

Cover Girl Caption  DELECTABLE - Delectable Deborah Denomme' is a rare native Las Vegan. A model and dancer between studies at UNLV, Deborah has held the titles of Miss Clark County and Miss Teenage Nevada. We think she sums up the summer nicely in original leather swimwear by Morton Crane.
