IN THE NEWS July 26, 1968  - TRIPLE PLAY AT CAESARS is really just the Andy Griffith Show. Andy Griffith, Don Knotts and Jerry Van Dke made their Circus Maximus debuts in a special two week engagement that brings television to the Las Vegas strip. Geroge Arnold's "Nudes On Ice" is cooling the stage at Milton Prell's Aladdin Hotel, sharing the marquees with "knockers up" gal Rusty Warren. "Cricket" makes her nightclub debut at the Flamingo Hotel this week with The Connie Stevens Show, staged by noted Hollywood producer Joe Layton.

Cover Girl Caption  DESERT DELIGHT - Lithe and lovely Jackie Hewitt,23, is the host Desert Inn's well qualified entrant in the upcoming "Miss Showgirl International Pageant"slated for the DI stage July 25. The delightful lass with the beautiful accent hails from Great Britain and is a showgirl in the "Pzaaa'68" show.
