IN THE NEWS May 17, 1974 - Las Vegas' own "Red McIlvaine Star Search" is causing lots of excitement over at the Landmark these days. Contestants from local contests all over the country will appear each week in auditions at the Landmark Supper Club in the hopes of being launched into an entertainment career. The Latin American extravaganza "Viva Mexico" makes it's Las Vegas debut at the Circus Circus while the musical spectacle"Hallelujah Hollywood"
bursts on stage at the MGM.
